You did. You have the makings of a decent side there, which should improve given the recruitment you've already done for next season. Griffin and Owen both look fantastic prospects to me and Huby and Emmitt are decent props. But you have a very weak bench and look in need of four or five senior pros to tighten things up defensively. You coughed up an awful lot of ball short of the half way line tonight, which made it easy for Saints.

We do need more props, ones that rough up other people's sides e.g. Puletua, Kaufusi who can earn respect for our team not the chicken props/backrowers we have at the minute e.g Mitchell who couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag

I said this on another thread, the likes of Jones,Jackson,Nash,Holmes,Mitchell & Snitch doesn't scare anybody...and i would include the national leagues on this.

While we have improved the backline for next season the pack needs at least 3 new signings, they need to be aggressive,rough no nonsense forwards...oh to have a pack with players of the likes of Hartley,Reilly,Ward,Gibbs,Sampson and Nutley again

As for the coach?...well London changing the coach so late in the season hasn't done them any harm.

What is really bugging me is Millward doesn't or won't take any blame for this seasons disaster....its all the players (or B.O.D's) fault. What about man management,team selection & tactics basil?

Whilst I'll miss not seeing them play until February/March 2013 I'm with you on it soon being over after the worst season I can remember.

When you were attacking towards the West Stand, where I was, your players looked more of a threat with ball in hand than did Saints. I think you have the start of something good that can only benefit from being without Rangi Chase (on whom your players have relied for far too long), some good new players (who appear to be on their way) and greater stability in the club as a whole which, from the noises your new chairman has made (about changing the culture of the club) should bed in over the off season.

It has been a miserable time for Cas fans this season but I reckon you could see a different - and better - side next year once all the changes that are being made have been implemented.

I think I can safely say, in my 28 years of watching Cas, this is without doubt the worst season I have witnessed, even the seasons when we were relegated the team was better to watch.
Without doubt we will finish bottom, like others have said, to be a penalty goal from Wembley and one game from the play offs last season to a total abortion of a season this year, and beaten by Fev.
I'm afraid I put it down partly to bad coaching, Millward as to go, no way can he improve us.

When do we not get dicked by saints like? Apart from at least once a year for as long as I can remember
