| No doubt the Wigan fans will come on here using excuses of tiredness but I thought the effort and general performance today was fantastic.
Defensively excellent and we stuck to the task despite adverse conditions (weather, lack of a pack, inept refereeing).
Ultimately Richards' mistake (can't stop laughing at it) turned the game and equally the awful decision for Rangi's kick (made up for the fact Bentham gave them everything).
Season turner? Salford and Catalans next. Hopefully can get two points next week and follow it up with a victory in France.

| Good point from a game that was over at half time. Glad we competed (even first half) and got back to being more like a decent SL side rather than some of the poor performances of late. If people want to bang on about the Exiles game and it's impact, then feel free to join the likes of Eddie and Stevo. I thought the weather was more a factor today, made the game less open and it was who could control the ball better. Thought Cas were pretty good and worked well. People like McGoldrick, Hudson and Orr did very well, Widders was good also and together with our more youthful players we did a good job. Ferres had a great game and Arundel is a quality finisher who can score the tough tries for us. Lots of good work from the pack too.

| I think the ball must have been electrified the amount of times the Wigan players fumbled it in the 2nd half. Great the lads stuck to the task. I, like many others, thought it was over at half time.

| The scoreboard didn't look too good at half time, but we gained a point on the top teams today because we stuck at it and didn't let Wigan score in the second half. Well done lads.

| Good 2nd half comeback from you guys, Half time came at the wrong moment for us as we lost a lot of our momentum.
Not happy at all about the left sided touch judge who gave you 2 tries, and Mathers for kicking the ball at my face just before our 2nd try.

| Top effort from the guys today! defence was top class, to keep wigan out for 3/4 set on our line takes some doing! and to keep them POINTLESS for a whole 40 mins takes alot more.
Thought it was a great all round performance but a special mention for ryan hudson and danny orr, both tackled out of their skin today, and danny seems to be finding them gaps in defences more and more recently!
What i liked the most was to see how much we wanted it, was was matching them for aggression and power, getting in their faces, i dont care if we had of lost today because of the effort that was shown!
Hopefully we can get abit of consistancy now and if we keep that defence ill be a happy fan!
ROLL ON NEXT WEEK, CMON THE TIGERS!

Very pleased Mathers got the last try. He had a shocking 1st half.
To be fair Bentham gave you a try when there was blatent crossing, and seems clueless about the moving off the mark rule. He just gave you a penalty for interference.
Remember everyone, Phil Bentham is latin for gullible moron!
