46042.jpg [quote="Bonzo":23qz4bj5]Corrected.
Incidentally, an exclamation mark ends a sentence and does not require a full stop. The first letter of the next word begins a new sentence and should therefore be capitalised. [i:23qz4bj5]Who needs flankers[/i:23qz4bj5]' grammar was actually correct.
HTH.

| On YEP website it says "remaining players who are due out of contract at the end of this year are Ryan Boyle, Ryan Clayton, Chris Feather, James Ford and Kirk Netherton."
Am I right in thinking we only have 2 and a half weeks left to sign the remaining players that we want to retain before they can sign with other clubs? Boyle, Feather and Netherton would be a big dent to our squad if we lost them all!

2009 The Year of the Tiger!!!! (In a rugby league year): |
|
| good signing, its okay people saying were not signing any new faces which sounds disappointing sometimes but its stability we need and signing good solid, consistant players like Bam Bam is what we need

Just over, 1st September. That said, nothing to say other players haven't been signed but not announced.

| Higgins is a good solid signing who often goes unnoticed but he rarely makes mistakes and always gives 100%, but that said I would rather keep Boyle any day, he is on around 20k less than Higgins is home grown and has a much better future ahead of him but I cant see us signing Higgins if we knew we were keeping boyle so I think its safe to say we have messed up on this one.

Fantastic prospect and already played pretty well in SL when he's been given the chance. There have been various rumours about his off-field antics and the possibility that Ryan has been left out of games by Matterson as a result but these haven't been confirmed or denied by anyone in the know.
I would hope that he would be signing one of these lengthy contracts but the longer this goes on, the more worried I am that he will leave.

The problem with "people in the know" is that they often don't know anything.
We need it confirming by the club, which won't happen until he leaves ie. Sione

Yeah, this is what I'm getting at. For example I've heard a story about an incident at a bar in Xscape involving Ryan and a member of staff there from someone involved so I have no reason to believe it to be false, but that's not to say it is or it isn't.
I want him to stay at the club because he's going to be a great player. If there are off-field issues, they should be addressed in house. If there aren't, then it would be nice to know why he's not playing because IMO he should be.

| I don’t believe its off field antics keeping him out of the team, anyone who knows him will say the same as me, he’s a shy lad who’s always polite and approachable and he doesn’t cause trouble, he does like a drink though but usually with his missus or team mates and no ones questioning the rest of the teams off field antics, I think its just people looking for reasons as to why TM isn’t playing him but I think that’s just down to personal differences, I don’t think TM is the best coach for developing him and although it annoys us as fans we do want to keep the players we are going to play and not the ones we are going to pay to sit in the stands and rot it’s a shame but I cant see him at Cas next year

It would be very nice to hear why certain individuals, not just Ryan, are not getting game time
Unfortunately in sport that will never happen
