Anyone know what the payments were for finishing positions?

Coming 4th in the Championship is irrelevant regarding funding for next season, it's where you end up in the 8's. I think it's around the £450k mark for 8th place, up to around £750k for 5th (hence the MPG where 4th and above get £1.8m for being in SL).

The big jump is from 6th to 7th. Goes something like 8th 450k, 7th 500k then about 700k for 6th. The problem is that the RFL are not really forthcoming with the figures.

I thought they changed that after the first year, as didn't Leigh finish top in 2015, but ended up finishing 8th in the M8s so only ended up with around £450k prize money.I'm sure they changed it to make where you finish in regular season more important.
