| Ralph Rimmer CEO of the RFL.
Top recruitment process there, did he appoint himself?
Not good this in my humble opinion, reckon the SL clubs will really go for the jugular now and the game is in real danger....

Indeed, that looks like a lot of ice ahead for our G&T’s.
Appalling decision.

Ralph is a big supporter of RL outside $uper£eague.
We could've done a lot worse.

| I wish him well but when he was a Development Officer in Doncaster I cant recall any lasting legacy of his time here apart from appearing @ presentation nights.
Wasn't he the CEO @ Huddersfield during the merger with Shefield? that went well.
I am not convinced he is the Dynamic fwd thinking visionary to sort the massive problems the game has at all levels

| I see a man who has had a lot of experience in working Rugby League, he is well known amongst players, press and officials and has limited academic qualifications, management skills, or wide business experience.
I see a man who failed as development officer at Doncaster, did what Ken told him at Huddersfield and did what Nigel told him at the RFL.
I see a man with no plan, no forward thinking and someone who will not upset the top bosses at Super League.
I see a man getting over £200k.
I see a man who I admire for achieving so much for himself with so little.
I see a man who will do exactly what he was appointed to do....

Merger? Takeover is the word you're thinking of I believe.

| I think it's safe to say Ralph Rimmer wont be the saviour of rugby league . Then again if you look at the lack of quality around clubs in management ability it's hard not to sit at a rugby league meeting and recall the " "hearding "cats sketch . The Beaumont sage this week is a very good example of just how rugby league is managed ( or not managed. Probably time the fax board reflected on what has worked this season and especially why decisions had not been previously taken and why not. Ie there are I am sure some very pertinent lessons learnt this season and we should protect them for the future so as not to replicate previous bad choices.
