"Halifax RLFC can confirm that Gareth Moore has transferred to Dewsbury Rams with immediate effect for an undisclosed sum.
Moore signed from Featherstone Rovers at the start of the 2016 season and has made 4 appearances for the blue and white this year.
We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and thank him for his service to the club.
Fans are advised to keep their eyes on our website tomorrow for details of a new signing."

Gareth Moore did okay last season and was rewarded with a new contract. Surprised he has been let go. Must be things going on behind the scenes.

I agree that he had a really good season last season, but he hasn't done much this time around.
I was one of his critics but he proved me wrong last year. Not sure what has happened this year but I think his work commitments have affected his training.
He was one of the top earners so it will free up some cash for the club.
I wish him all the best. He wore the blue & white with pride.

Glad someone else noticed that, he stood out like a sore thumb at half time, even the touch judges got muddier. Good luck to him though, he has the talent, nobody has managed to get the consistency from him though. He had a couple of good games for us, just a shame he couldn't see his own potential.

Will go well at Dewsbury, as he would in most teams in this league. Has the potential and showed that last year, as he was definitely in our top 3. If anything, Gareth was too much like Murrell though and I personally much prefer a Jonno type half back partner alongside Scott. Good luck though, hopefully you can do us a favour with Dewsbury and help turn over some top 4 rivals.
