The platform is what we have lacked all season and KH knows it. Two quality halfs is just what we need.

| Don't you usually use the 'less money' line on every signing? Could just be agents work 
Two very good signings, though both best at 6 so be interesting to see how works out though Handforth could probably fill 7 as easily. |

If I was John Kear I would put the statement on the Batley dressing room wall.
Seems a daft statement to make at this time when Halifax are still resigning there own players and trying to attract new players.Tells the Halifax players they can get better deals elsewhere (Might be why Batley are talking to Makali Aizue)and if Batley are offering better contracts than Halifax so are Leigh,Featherstone and Sheffield. Might be a bit of sibling rivalry between the Harrison brothers.

I think there might be some clubs offering better money to some players than Fax this year.
KH has publicly stated that more money needs to be set aside for the youth setup with the hope of a longer term return.
Macca does not have many years left so he may be one who is tempted by a bit of extra cash if it is offered to him.
KH might reason that allthough he is no doubt a devastaing player it might be more prudent not to overspend on him and get someone younger in.
On the other hand Macca knows how well thought of he is at Fax and may want to stick around for another year especially if he thinks we are back in the hunt to win something with KH and the team he is assembling.
Then the overall "BETTER DEAL" would balance itself up with a bit of extra winning pay to be picked up but who really knows. |
