For those about to Rock - we salute you...

I only saw the bit about the drummers, and to be honest, thought they were walking total cack most of the time. How they could throw in some of the choices alongside John Bonham astounded me. Keith Moon; maybe, but jeez did those doing the discussion actually know what they were on about, (Copeland and Radcliffe aside)?

As I didn't see it all, did Cozy Powell even get a mention?

Nor Carl Palmer or Ginger Baker who make Dave Grohl look a total lightweight. Also what happened to the significant others section the keyboard players -as many rock bands have them my vote was for the caped crusader Rick Wakeman

For anyone who missed the earlier programmes leading up to this. I believe they took online voting in the various categories and the voting last night was just for your choice from the top 3 nominations. So I was actually asking who everyone voted for out of the available top 3.

I voted the way they turned our apart from lead geetarist where I went for Page. Those slagging Dave Grohl off need to look at thier heads though. Davey is a quality drummer and musician who is far better than Moon who IMO only got in for following the rock and roll lifestyle, a man that never played the same tune twice and couldn't even hold his sticks correctly has no place in the best rock n roll band ever. Bonzo ruled his ass without even trying. Have to say I'm glad Ringo didn't make the list.

When interviewed by an American TV network John Lennon was asked if Ringo was the best drummer in the World. Lennon replied "He's not even the best drummer in The Beatles"
