That the Rugby and Football topics on the courier website are now just turning into a place for football and rugby fans to have slanging matches

Hellfire is on there alot messing around, stayer has started to do it more and more as well.

there is a topic in yestersays courier about the seats and it has 50 or so comments in it, with some cheap points scoring involved.

as a supporter of both clubs i find it to be getting a bit tedious to say the least,

anyone else noticed this or is it just me.

I am one who does bite occasionally at Hellfire's stupididy. I did take to "red penning" him for a while, but he is so tedious i've even stopped doing that!!

All he will do is drive people away from using the board as a discussion tool.

seems that a lot who use it these days are just out to cause trouble between the clubs.

It's really quite pathetic. I dont read the football stories so I dont know if rugby fans are as bad, but 'hellfire' is a nasty little tool. He even thought it was fair play to slag off Stan Kielty's tribute page after he died. Nice guy!

I dont think its too damaging, both a set of idiots and as time has gone on alot of the bickering has stopped between the 2 clubs. As a supporter of Halifax Town i feel most comments only occur when the Rugby team are succesful so as many suspect its jealousy.

The town needs both sets of fans pulling together as im sure they would (Save Our Shay was a prime example of the 2 clubs united) Yes there are things the Rugby club shouldnt have done but there are also things the Football club shouldnt have done. But there is certainly support for both sides. Faxs attendances were good last season and Towns attendances for the league they are in are well in all honesty superb. It was nice to see some Fax fans at the Wrexham game and also i know many Town fans who went to Warrington.

With the East stand nearing completion the time has come for the bickering to end and Stayer and Hellfire aside it seems to have. Some people do not like the sport or football and some do not like the sport of Rugby but no need to slag each other off.

I do respond to Hellfire, but I know I shouldnt. Perhaps if people just ignored his comments and used the message facility around him, without making any reference to him, he would just fade away? I will start it off, by declaring that I will never make mention of him, nor respond to any of his comments, on the Courier web site.

Have no interest in Soccer of Halifax Town or whatever they are called. If they won the European Cup or folded it would not bother me to be honest. Anybody who feels they need to slag continually something everyday on a tin pot local Newspaper website really needs to get a life. I read the Articles on the Rugby but most articles and comments on the Courier Website are just a waste of time.

The articles themselves are interesting, especially Messrs Roberts and Fleming's weekly articles. It's just the mudslinging from FCHT and HRLFC tards which is utterly pointless.
