Quote ="Greg Florimos Boots"Im thinking sort of along the lines of Cluedo.
Now we have all read about Celtics problems and having the players deported, now then more importantly we have to work out which team it was that grassed on them. I have to admit its going to be very tricky to solve this one as theres quite a list and im sure people can think of other teams as well.
Well here are the main candidates:-
Hull - After having a player of the quality of Michael Crocker turned down for a visa maybe they did a little digging.
Cas - Having been affected a few times by Visa problems and probably still smarting from the RFL not backing their visa app for Michael Dobson only to see him sign for Wigan a few weeks later, they could be a candidate.
Bradford - Being the first SL to suffer the indignity of losing to the Celts and their 30 odd Aussies maybe they were trying to get their points back through the back door. Also affected in the Greg Bird scandal.
Leigh - Alan Rowley never short of an opinion and in his view after getting screwed out of SL he must have being steaming and has been plotting the Celts downfall ever since.
Barrow - Along the same lines as above but with money bags Des throwing his dosh about and with them too falling foul on overseas signings maybe he thought it was possible to kill two birds with one stone and finally buy that place he so keenly wants.
Now one team we have managed to rule out Is Widnes. With all the brown nosing over at the Halton they will be hoping if they keep stum then in 9 years time after bending over for the RFL every 3 years only to be well and proper shafted, then they will finally see fit to include them in SL.'"
i think its a tough one and i would think that Widnes would be prime candidates to have had a look at things.
maybe it was the Rfl that actually did something constructive for once it can happen rarely but it can.
