(Interesting side point on shared ground rent, where Davy is concerned with the Giants and Huddersfield Town I believe he thought the football club should be paying more because they used it more so another small insight into his way of thinking that might work in our favour.)
'"
This is one of my hopes that if Davy takes over we will see a change in the lopsided rent. I know Fax do through choice get more use of some facilities but I gave a breakdown on the Town forum of how much more use Town get out of the pitch and it is a wonder that it is equal rent(que jokes from Town fans about non payment).
I know its a bit unlikely but it would be hillarious to see the meltdown if Fax saw a reduction in rent and town saw an increase.

Someone once did a breakdown between football and rugby league and included.
Length and number of games in the seasons. League & cup. Football more.
Length of time of each game. Football longer. 90 against 80.
Number of players on the pitch during each game. Rugby more 13 against 11.
Can’t remember the exact percentages but football used it more, however whichever way it was calculated as far as FC Town were concerned Fax were the usual squatters etc etc were to blame for damaging the pitch and everything else and should be kicked out.
Apart from that tripe you’ve also hit on something else that could be realised if Davy gets in and that’s development and use of the facilities.
He’s mentioned it could be called The Calderdale Stadium with other activities and income streams beyond rugby and football and after his love of rugby he’s obviously got a business head and you would expect he won’t just be relying on those two sports.

| (Use of pitch edit just counting home league games from previous post.
Football. 23 games x 90 minutes x 11 players = 22,770 man minutes on the pitch.
Rugby. 12 games x 80 minutes x 13 players = 12,480 man minutes on the pitch.
= footballs use of the pitch for league games amounts to an extra 171.5 man hours.
Rent (when we pay it ) the same amount.)
Decide for yourself whether that’s fair or not?

| If you got all the intellectuals that ever lived , jordan Peterstone, Einstein, aristotle etc in a room with the shaymen and categorical proved everything they said was false they would still say the same thing they have been for years . It's quite interesting that they've watched a video of clayton answering direct questions actually encouraged it and they've still managed to change the narrative to how he's just another Tony Abbott.
You can't educate pork.

If that's the case that's worth a little chuckle , although I could see a scenario where bubba and barry hodgson go undercover as ken davys chauffeurs to see if they could extract any information that way .
Or they could kidnap him and interrogate him gestapo style ' heir davy are you charging those wretched squatters lower rent ? Those snivelling leeches think they have the moral high ground , well the sst will report back to heir hoddie our fuhrer and you will suffer the consequences of his wrath , we marched to the town hall and we will march again , we will fight them on the beaches , we will fight them in George's square in the piece hall , we will get tom scargill to write propaganda in the courier and hoddie will print them off ten years later the sad bald man ...

As said before, the working parties had the best intentions given that, at the time, there wasnt any other option on the table. Whether you like/dislike me, Hoddie or the others involved it wasnt a popularity contest and was simply about securing the stadium long-term for Fax and FCHT.
Regardless of the council decision, Ill remain resolute that private ownership is the worst option, even if the KD option does bring immediate benefits. To me, these benefits dont provide the longer term securities the clubs, or more importantly, the supporters should want. The owners of both clubs may welcome the immediate benefits, but when the private ownership potentially goes wrong, they most likely wont be around and its the supporters who will suffer.
I can still see potential spanners in the works. The ACV, the Football League feedback/guidance on pitch usage (three teams), the pitch grant, timescales, etc.

So would you say as a representative of the sst you have both clubs best interests at heart?
