On the 21st July I shall be taking part in the Rugby League Rowing Challenge to help raise funds for TryAssist - the RFL benevolent fund who help players who have suffered life-changing injuries or who suffer from debilitating illnesses.
As a fax fan and an ex referee I decided I wanted to give something back to the game I love and agreed to row 26 miles for charity.......to put this in perspective 26 miles is just over 6 times the Oxford vs Cambridge boat race distance (6779m) and over 20 times longer than an olympic rowing distance (2000m)
I hope that you will help me reach my target of £500 and even surpass this amount for a charity which has helped so many people including Matt King.
