Sorry Guys, what happened with the trial match with Skolars A that was supposed to be played on the weekend?
Not a good sign for Skolars A if they couldnt put out a side with the comp about to start.

What I heard was that by Wednesday the Skolars could not guarantee getting a squad of players out, so the game was called off. Unfortunately this only left Cents 2 days to find a replacement team for the game, which they couldn't at such short notice. If its true that Skolars couldn't get a full team out for their friendly with Hemel the week before either, and had to rely on Hainault players to make up the numbers, maybe things aren't too good at the moment down North London way RLC wise? Any 'Skolars' out there care to say whats happening?

That is a big shame if the A grade cant get a team going for this year.
After all the work that went into them putting in a successful team in 07 and what a great comp that turned out to be with Skolars, Storm and Cents playing some great footy that year.
At the moment i reckon their Championship 2 team would struggle to get a win against RLC team.
They need the A grade to work as they young players when they turn 17 have no where to play of there is no team.

Anyway hope you guys go well this year, should be a good comp once again.
