I hope this doesn't give credence to the rumour that Leigh Centurions have signed an Eagles player,but is an addition to the squad and competition for places.
I wish Rob the best of luck as I admire those who overcome a bit of adversity with a bit of dignity.
Interesting that the 'unattached' Will Hope is in the Ireland squad.

Used to enjoy Rob's length of field tries (and groan when he dropped a high ball). I do wonder though how effective he will be on the narrow confines of Owlerton.

Ive always liked the Worrier , and think he will be a good addition to your team next year , though from the signings you are makings I can see it being another lean year for you .

No announcement yet, but I doubt Owlerton meets the new ground regulations, nor will the club want to go back there as it was hardly a success

I think we are making some shrewd signings, no Langley is fit again he will provide a bit of nous to the forwards and the young aussie lads come with a lot of potential. It was Owlerton that caused the poor form last year, get us on a wide pitch again next season and we will be pushing for that top 4 spot. |

Excuses, excuses. There were plenty of points scored at Owlerton. 37-30 is not a low scoring game. We just didn't cope with it as well as we should have done.

Not too sure about that one - but he can still run and we need someone down the righthand side. Hope he's learnt a few lessons in last 12 months AND how to catch a high ball. He's going to have to kiss and make up with Mr Yere! Suppose Tubs knows what he's doing
