Ducky you have to keep the faith , you are not a bad side , I think Owlerton has been your downfall this year ,the place is terrible , but it will be a while before a new stadia is built .I don't think you will go down , but you must start winning soon , hopefully after Sunday .

I'll always back the lads It is true we are not a bad side and your right about Owlerton for me we need five wins to be ok which is more than achievable with our remaining games. I do think we'll do a lot better on your pitch but I can't see us coming away with anything (I hope I'm wrong)

Regarding the new stadium it is hoped we'll be in there for 2016 though the demolition of DVS has fallen behind. There should be news on the stadium soon.... Watch this space

Ducky , I must have been the only Leyther who liked trips to Don Valley , I always liked going there , Owlerton is a shambles but what can you do ?Nowt ,I enjoy games againt your team , even though they have been very painfull in recent years , you have a good record at the LSV , but this year our Game mentality is different , we have strength in depth , and a touch of Class , you may get a Bonus Point , but we are due a good performance after the last couple of games , it might be on Sunday .

Well I was right you DID get a bonus point , but have fallen on the Stoney Ground that is now 9th place in the League , not a good place to be for Prize Money at the end of the Season .I think you played well in the second half , QLTs dancing and goose stepping doesn't wash though .Ive not seen the rest of your fixtures but it could be Goodnight Irene to the play-offs .Charlie knows . .

Last week Michael Knowles wanted the players to stand up and be counted.He and the rest of the players certainly did that today;especially after the half time talk by Mark Aston.It must have been good.

Great to see the emotion and passion from the head coach which I won't comment on here;just in case.

I didn't get the response I wanted from a female member of staff at Owlerton on Friday afternoon ( she wasn't a rugby league fan or Eagles employee I guessed ) but your club have gained at least a couple of extra supporters probably for a few home games,shortly.

Not having to give money to the LSV and watching Leigh niggle and goad their way through games,and getting the decisions by the officials,will be a welcome relief.
I can understand fully why Mark Aston has no respect for Barlow long after his 'transfer' to Halifax.

Brilliant second half performance. The return of James Davey brought great life into the team and the return of the quick PTB!! Can take great pride in what happened today and with some home games coming up against teams around us, expect some decent results in coming weeks.

The 'we are staying up' chant is tongue in cheek and we even sang it at start of last season, when we lost at Fax. Thanks for the enquiry though.
