Facebook Exclusive : Amidst rumours, Featherstone Rovers are in a position to
announce the imminent great news that proven UK entrepreneur and PROBIZ
Founder, Feisal Nahaboo will become a significant shareholder alongside
Chairman Mark Campbell in the club within the next five days.

Feisal Nahaboo said "Leading Featherstone Rovers into Super League is now
my number one goal along with Mark Campbell. To turn a traditional clublike Rovers into a force in the sport again will be a remarkableachievement and we will give it our best efforts."

The club expect to make a further announcement by the close of the week.

They could end up in Salford or Bradford.

Hope they spend it wisely. There's still a salary cap and finishing top doesn't get you much.

Hardly Man City - Manchester is a big place and can attract loads of supporter Featherstone is a Pit village without a pit and can attract a couple of thousand supports and will continue to support the image of rugby league being a minorty sport for a few northerners - hope it flops on its face .

Featherstone........ a set of traffic light on the road between Wakefield and pontefract. As for being the man city of the championship....chuck a ton of money at being one hit wonders.

We actually need decent opposition in our division. We also need them to be stable and spend within their means, not post huge losses which is what they've done for the last three years.

Big signs of jealousy and a lack of knowledge of which towns around the Featherstone area actually favour Rovers over their super league neighbours, maybe Fev don't have a pit any more but they do have a home of their own & why do you have an image that a sports club has to be in a big town or city, Sheffield is the 4th or 5th bigest city in the country yet they do't get the same support as a pit village team.

The same towns, of course, also supply Castleford with their support. I'd struggle to convince anyone that Castleford had mega-huge crowds from this catchment area.

Of course Fev get support from elsewhere - theres goole and selby just down the road the potential for filling post office road is obviously there for the asking - but come on this is super league we're talking about you need to be looking at the prospect of a crowd of10 k upwards otherwise you'll be going down the Bradford/ Salford route very quickly. Why don.t you just merge with Cas and have done with.

I think you need to look at the crowds in the super league (Not many get 10k week in week out) I'm not a Fev fan for a start (Hull FC) and i could always say why don't you merge with Donny, they have a good ground for the next 10 years and will be attracting bigger crowds (Going on past history)
