What a joke they are! All the nominees for all three categories come from four clubs (Fev, Fax, Leigh, Batley) how Q hasn't even got a nomination for player of the year is completely beyond me!
Player of the year: Andy Kain (Fev), Liam Finn (Fev), Sean Penkywicz (Fax), Bob Beswick (Leigh).
Coach of the year: John Kear (Batley), Daryl Powell (Fev), Karl Harrison (Fax), Paul Rowley (Leigh).
Young player of the year: Alex Walmsley (Batley), Greg Worthington (Fev), Ryan Brierley (Leigh).
FWIW out of that lot I'd go for Finn, Rowley and Walsmley.

Batley finished lower than they did last year so I don't see why Kear is nominated for coach of the year.

So the teams finishing 1,2,3 & 5 get there coaches picked,Interesting,John Kear is picked because he's John Kear plain and simple the ex super league manager and TV pundit,If it was Joe Bloggs who got Batley to 5th he wouldnt have been nominated,Mention it quietly but Demetriou at Keighley probably deserves the nomination more than Kear.Same goes for Bob Beswick,Well known name,easy pick.The others do deserved to be nominated.
