Squad numbers for me especially if we are playing more games at DVS. The players are further away and it takes longer to recognise some new players at the start of the season. Thank heavens for bright coloured boots.
I mean when Menzie first arrived we were only able to say it's him because of his large white boots.
The assumption is that it's slightly cheaper for the club if each player has his own shirt because you only have to have one size say for number 6? I say slightly cheaper because a smaller guy is unlikely to play at 8 or 10 and vice versa you aren't going to get someone the size of Jack and Mitch playing at 1, 2 etc.
I'd like to see players "within reason up to 99" choose their own number like American sports.
There should be no hard and fast rules imposed by the RFL so let the clubs who want trad have that and those who don't have squad numbers.
