Keighley don't concede too many points so I think this might be closer than I originally thought but I expect Eagles to win narrowly 24 to 16. So having made my prediction Eagles will probably pile up lots of points. Hope so anyway.

We owe Keighley one after the defeat at their place in horrible conditions with a couple of contentious refereeing decisions. I fully expect us to get our revenge but it won't be easy, they're a good side with a smattering of ex SL players and one of the best halves in the competition in Sam Obst.

Will be tough as said but I think after the confidence boost on Thursday + the extra few days rest we have had compared to Keighley we should win this one.

JK was on about how they'd had to back up after playing Halifax in May, while we'd had an extra two days since playing Dewsbury. That extra week they had didn't help much on Thursday, did it ?  |

It didn't go too well at their place, we had the Ilkley detour, it pee'd it down, we had a bad referee plus we lost (just) so it would be nice to get a win.
I can't see there being more than a converted try between the 2 sides.

That second half was perhaps the worst I've ever had the misfortune of watching.
I can see why Keighley don't concede many, they're very strong defensively but their style of rugby is so dour, glad I don't have to watch that every week. Trying to slow it down at every play the ball and then trying to start a fight every two minutes as well, that number 17 was a lunatic. I've no idea why they don't try and play a more attractive, expansive brand because they've got the players to do it. Although quite a few of them appeared to be nothing more than past it SL journeymen tonight.
Thought we nullified their threat very well, Obst was never in the game and their outside backs didn't get much of a sniff either. I think Tubbs will be disappointed with the try we did concede as it was relatively soft, but prior to it we went about 2 hours without conceding (including the second half at Batley) which is a monumental effort considering how freely we were leaking points earlier in the season.
MoM for me was Scott Turner, couple of huge shots and a great tackle at the end of the first half, also honourable mentions to Vinny Finigan and Q, as well as all the forward pack.
