Could it have been Woodburn Stadium, where all the 5-a-side pitches are? Not being a Sheffield lad I wouldn't know which if any amuture adult teams would play there, though I believe that there are juniour teams playing under Woodburn Athletic Futbol Club banner.

Anyway Millmoor seems to big for the ground I seen sure of it and I know Don Valley having been there for games and the bowl behind it for the arctic monkeys gig in June its a little on the large side for the ground I seen Thanks guys could of been Coach and Horses but having been there as well I'm sure it wasn't.
I'm not sure whether you can see Abbeydale from the Manchester line. That's very close to Dore Station and I would guess 5 mins from the main Sheffield station. That would be on the left of the train travelling to Sheffield.
