With my crazy attendance record going back to 2004 I have seen every game that Brendon played in our hallowed shirt. I can say with no doubt that his level of professionalism, attitude and commitment is something of legend. His performances over the last five years have been to a new level. When he came we had missed the NL2 playoffs, as he leaves we were 80mins away from the NL1 grand final, and it's no coincidence.
Not only as a player but as a man and friend he has been a credit to our club and it will not be the same without him.
Brendon, thank you so very much for five years of loyalty and friendship. Good luck in your future life.
Brendon will be missed by the club on and off the field. A model professional.
When we signed Brendon we had just dispensed with the services of an Aussie who had not met expectations so I asked on the forum whether anyone knew if Brendon was a good choice. Someone from Ipswich came on and said we'd got a good one. He wasn't wrong.
I'd like to echo the sentiments of everyone on this subject. Brendan is a top professional and a top bloke and without him I'd probably still be wondering round the car park at Wembley (don't ask).
hes been a loyay servant to the club and we wouldnt hve got where we have without him. thnks for all your work on and off the field Brendon, as ESO says, you truly are an Eagles Ledgend.
