You lost out by a couple of points of points difference. Personally, I didn't think the format worked - two clubs out having won all their group games just doesn't seem right. The problem was that three games weren't enough to produce clear cut semifinalists.

Ideally there should've been quarter finals then you could've had all 6 teams who won all their games plus the next best two. However, hindsight is a wonderful thing.

When would you be playing the games ? You'd need another couple of rounds. People were already drifting away from the ground by 6, that's why the final was brought forward.

There are no easy answers.

I've got an easy answer, scrap it.
