With 6 games remaining of the regular Super League season remaining, how do people think the final table will look come the end of Round 27 and how the play-offs will go ?

This is what I think:

1. Wigan
2. Wire
3. Saints
4. Catalans
5. Huddersfield
6. Leeds
7. Castleford
8. Hull FC
9. Hull K R
10. Bradford
11. Salford
12. Harlequins
13. Crusaders
14. Wakefield

I think Wire will beat Wigan in the regular season, but lose to Catalans out in Perpignan and Wigan will win all their other games, which will give Wigan the league by 1 point. I think the play-offs will be one of quite a few shocks. I think the semi-finals will be Wire v Huddersfield and Wigan v Catalans. It'll be a Wire-Wigan Grand Final, but I do think Catalans could possibly pull a major shock.

last season average at racecourse for crusaders over 5k, this season so far is about 3.5k not bad considering rugby league is completly new to the area.

Think the change to Friday nights has been a big mistake. Should have stayed at Sunday afternoon to allow fans from Yorkshire etc to get across the penines to attend matches.

I agree with all your suggestions as to why we've seen lower attendances this season. We keep on shooting ourselves in the foot by making silly decisions. We could have at least 1,000 extra on our gates this season.

aswell as daft decisions like playing fridays and having to pre buy tickets the fact of winning only 4 games all year has the biggest effect and IF crusaders have a good year of recruitement and get a squad that is capable of top 8 and generally win more games next year then that will raise crowds aswell.
would a pledge scheme cheap season tickets be a good option for the crusaders?

Depends on your view of "completely new to the area"

Three pro clubs and numerous amateur clubs within 30 miles.

They're a little thurther than 30 miles, about 32, 34 and 39 miles I think icon_wink.gif but your right there are a lot of Saints, Wigan, Warrington, Widnes fans etc in the North Wales. There are a few of them who have converted to a Cru supporter instead, but its mostly new spectators in North Wales really, me being one of them.

Last season it was great to see the number of people getting involved with Rugby League. I know this season's attendances have been fairly poor, but as we've mentioned above, them things haven't helped at all. I'm sure with an improved team, which is expected and a change to Sunday games, it'll see last seasons gates come back and possibly higher.

it wasnt that long ago teams like huddersfield were getting 3k ect and look how they have progressed now if the crusaders were still getting just over 3k after 20 years with all the foundations and structures in place then that woudnt be good enough but the cru are less then 2 years in wrexham and have already have a average of about 4k and when you consider this season results daft things that have been mentioned and the of field stuff i think that amazing.

ive already said this before but i feel with the new tv deal id like to see the crusaders and quins get an extra 450k each with the 12 other super league clubs getting 50k extra each.

To say "3 pro clubs within 30 miles " misunderstands the Welsh psyche. While it is true that Welsh players coming over from Union to League has attracted some fans to watch north west clubs there is no way that Welsh people are going to follow an English club on mass. It would be like trying to get Wrexham football fans to watch Chester. Rightly or wrongly the border makes a difference. If we are going to build Welsh rugby we need a super league club in Wales. People from all over Wales are happy enough to travel to Wrexham to watch a Welsh team but if it was moved 10 miles over the border no one would come. I don't think a lot of people in the heartland areas understand this because they don't understand what it is to be Welsh.
Sorry Tamagrace and Kinleycat but I can't see Wakefield beating us in to weeks time or Quins the following week so I can't see us finishing bottom. If you have seen us this season you would know we are a much better team than our position suggests.

Perhaps you need to change your coach then.
