| The game being on sky is going to hurt us the most as you said. The south wales fans are not going to travel the entire country to watch their team. It's one of the only breaks they get

| any news on ticket sales isnt looking good if the club arnt stating how many tickets have been sold or that sales are good like you do. 5k would be good though for the club, this game last year only got 1,900 which is shocking so anything like 5k would be great. am i the only one who thinks playing quins and bradford at neath is the wrong decision. i would of been better for the club to keep the games at racecourse and build the reputation ect there. also the crowds will be at leaste half of what they could get if they were played at racecourse so thats going to have an effect on the average crowd which is important for the club to try and persuade the rfl and the rugby league fans they deserve a super league place

| This is the perfect game for free tickets to be given to every school in Wrexham.

Oh yes we will, much better to watch it live in Wrexham than on Sky in South Wales.

Of the top of my head:
A low crowd expected. Perfect chance to get local kids interested. Many kids will bring a paying adult. Kid with free ticket and paying adult likely to buy food, drink maybe even merchandise at game. Possibility of newcomers liking what they see and returning as paying customers.

it's a win win situation that generates short and long term support. Definately should be hammering the local schools with free tickets.

No. The current strategy of good discounts for wrexham season ticket holders and rugby union players, club members etc is working. Over 4k tickets sold is better pre-sales then for almost any other game last season, and thats with very few (but very welcome) away fans. Don't undervalue the product.

I don't think it is tbh.
What Crusaders need is a unique selling point for each game. They have that for this one with Gareth Thomas and if they can get up above 5k, then they will have retained the same number of home fans they had for the Hull game.
Upcoming games against Hudds and Quins might be when to bring in ticket promotions. I just hope when the numbers go down for future games people won't hit them with a load of negative publicity. The initial curiosity and big away support were key reasons for large crowds at the start so a decrease will happen. But they maintain a core base of around 5k to start with, they'll have done very well. What they've done already deserves great credit.
