I don't think it is tbh.
What Crusaders need is a unique selling point for each game. They have that for this one with Gareth Thomas and if they can get up above 5k, then they will have retained the same number of home fans they had for the Hull game.
Upcoming games against Hudds and Quins might be when to bring in ticket promotions. I just hope when the numbers go down for future games people won't hit them with a load of negative publicity. The initial curiosity and big away support were key reasons for large crowds at the start so a decrease will happen. But they maintain a core base of around 5k to start with, they'll have done very well. What they've done already deserves great credit.

| Thought it was a cracking crowd tonight down the sidelines.
Can't wait for Wigan to play there later on in the season, maybe fill one end!!
Good win tonight fella's, looks like BN's magic steadying the ship looks to be continuing.

| over 6000 is a excellent attendance for the game, thats better than some of the more established superleague clubs would get, so hats off to your guys, and congratulations on another win.

| another great crowd i know the club were hoping for more even a sell out but to get over 6,000 is a great effort considering it was a friday night game, on sky, no away supporters, crap weather, wrexham at home 2day, wales union playing aswell. obviously the thomas factor put a few more on the attendence but at the end of the day you know the crusaders have pulled in another great crowd. my only concern is the 2 on the road games at neath, the quins game is in a couple of weeks i think and theres been no promotion ect for the game also with it been played at gnoll which is as bad as brewifield i dont see were the crowd is coming from. hopefully them crowds wont bring down the average to much. also last season the same game got 1,900 this season 6,100 some improvment hey

| The Gnoll is a terrible ground but at least it will be better for the South Wales boys to get along to support their team

Won't be going. Not my team any more. A passing interest and nothing more for me.
But well done you lot up North on that last one. Live on Sky against a team with hardly any travelling support and an attendance of 6,000. Not too shabby!

Do you follow South Wales or are you down to only Wales now?

| A growing interest in SWS. We'll see about Wales RL. Been watching Union these past few weeks.

| Wales were eventually quite entertaining against an average Italy.
I was actually AT 2 of the games this year's 6N (vs Scotland and vs France) and was pretty bored for much of the game (plus the Welsh supporters are no longer the famous singers we used to be).
There ARE fast, exciting RU games, but it's maybe 1 out of 4. In league it's 3 out of 4.
But back on topic, from a 150 mile distance, it seems there's a better atmos at the Racecourse than the Millenium Stadium at the moment. WRU left it too long. NW appears to be a staunch RL region now.
Well done the gogs. I only hope that this is the beginning of the end for anti-league rejudice in Wales and hopefully it finds its way down here too with more people embracing SWS than embraced Celtic Cru in a few years time.
