Have seen this "positioning in front of microphones" arguement.
It doesn't cover the fact that the commentary on BBC Leeds online that you could hear the Crusaders fans over the Giants when the Commentary team were in the opposite stand. I was also sat to the side of the Crusaders fans close to the Giants fans and there was nothing coming back throughout the game. Only cheering when there were tries. Just for once, you could say that the Crusaders fans were singing for the full 80 minutes and were as loud (if not louder) when their teams conceaded or went behind.
