Other than Gigot our attack was rubbish. Why are we so flat? Why is Escare running sideways and backwards? Why is Pomeroy still in the team? Given how poor we were I can't believe we so nearly pulled it off.

As soon as pellisier leaves the field we look less dangerous. He is a better player than henderson however I think it works well at the end of a game to have them both on the pitch. Dureau needs a good half back partner otherwise he falls to pieces (if he plays with carney they both play out of their skin). Forwards good as always. Gigot and Inu look very dangerous. I think Escare is having confidence issues. When i went to watch the game at cas he slaughtered a 2 on 1 with Zeb and we lost the game. He had looked to be regaining his confidence he had lost this year but that error and the one at warrington I think have really pegged him back. He will come good tho, he is only young and most definitely a fair weather player. Whitehead will be difficult to replace, Louis Anderson would be decent if no recruits can be found. He has been one of our best this year. But really that KR game on Thursday night was refereed so poorly in the first half that there was no coming back from 18 points down with such a depleted side. Get Carney back, get Zeb fit again, find some referees that arent against us and I do believe we could put a good run at the end of this season.

Bentham went from penalising us both once (maybe twice) in 1st half to a penalty count of 9 to 3 in your favour in the second half.
He certainly wasn't against you.

There were 3 game changers that led to your first 3 tries, there was no coming back from 18-0 down.

When we played you at our place we were losing 20-4 but turned it around and won 50-20.
Kris Welham did touch the ball but it could easily have been classed as a loose carry, that led to our 1st try which certainly still needed scoring.
Admit Kris Welham knocks the ball down near our line, and that was missed, it should have been your head and feed but don't think that led directly to a try.
We defended a lot of sets on our line and didn't make any errors in the 1st half and played some good rugby so deserve credit for that tbh.
Second half Bentham gave you plenty of chances to get back into the game, penalising us 9 times, (he didn't do that to you in 1st half) but I will also give you credit for playing well in the second half too.
We should have had a few penalties in 2nd half but Bentham ignored a clear high shot on Ken Sio and a kick from Escare on Albert Kelly also Ian Henderson's try was very dubious and seeing it back I personally don't think he grounded it, Nothing on tv showed it as a 100% try, so you were lucky there imo.

I agree that KR were the better side however all I ask is a fair crack. I've watched most of catalans games this season and most games there is a hell of a lot of calls that go against us unfairly. Salford got a point in Perpignan from a terrible decision to give a penalty at the end. The magic weekend game was one of the worst refereeing displays I have ever seen. The 1st game of the year against Saints had some terrible calls in it. KR deserved the victory I'm just annoyed that nearly every game I watch we get screwed over. I hate draining on about officiating but it spoils my viewing of the team I deem to be the best entertainers in the comp.
