For those it works for, this may - may - be as a result of some cached files hanging around your computer. It wasn't working properly, so I reinstated some settings so that it would work after a fashion. I shall leave it that way over the weekend.
Early next week, I'll be having another bash and leaving it for a day or two to see what happens, so sang-et-or.com might, but hopefully won't, stop working in that time.
Your patience is appreciated. I will get it sorted before the season starts.

This bright new dawn thread has become a technical slugfest. While it is, Vivien or John could someone tell me why the site reads like so................... (we aren’t or I don’t know)
Is it do do with the accents on certain French letters? Is there something I can do to sort it on my computer?

It's some language encoding thing and seems to be associated with the site rather than a user's set-up (i.e. I see the same problem on different browsers (IE, Firefox and Chrome) on different machines on different networks). Not sure how it came about, but it's noted and I'll see what I can do. Because it looks crap.
EDIT: Having a look round the RLFANS network, it seems we're not alone. Either it's something on our servers (not my module) or the architecture the websites are built on. One to raise with tech support. |
