| did you realise that Toulouse are still asking 20€ to sit in their stands ? did no one inform them that they were kicked out of the Championship a few months back ?
as far as I know the going rate is 10€ at all the other grounds so how can the club justify asking RL fans to fork out silly money for LER RL ?
it's a rip-off - isn't it ?

| In Avignon it's between 8 and 10, sunday at Palau (Elite 2), it was between 5 and 8 and free for under 18, in St-Esteve it's the same I think.
Why Toulouse, why

why ?
because Carlos is living in a dreamworld - the same world that allowed Gilles Dumas to competely destroy a perfectly good playing squad and made them the laughing stock of the Championship...
so much potential but charging 20€ as well as playing at 1900 on a saturday evening in november is also a joke...

| The 20€ price was way, way over the odds by Championship standards anyway, which is why away fans to Toulouse generally just paid the general admission price (apart from my first two visits when I'd got hold of some main stand freebies )

| 10 Euros seems to be the norm in Elite1. Sometimes 15 for play-offs and later stages of the cup. It was 10 Euros for 1 day of the magic weekend last year, or 15 for both. St Esteve/UTC is 5 euros, I think.
5 Euros for a seat at Villefranche (Elite 2) , half price for pensioners & students & free for kids. Think I've paid similar amounts elsewhere in Elite 2.
Dragons is 18 to 30 Euros depending on which stand you're in.
Thought a season ticket at TO was something like 90 Euros?
I'd have thought your petrol costs dwarfed whatever you end up forking out for a seat?

that's the problem for the likes of me who live a long way from Toulouse - the petrol money plus the motorway tolls plus a hotel if it's a late finish in winter due to a ridiculous KO time of 1900 on a saturday evening makes it almost impossible to afford to go to each game
Villeneuve is a bit closer plus no tolls and it's a sunday afternoon KO which gives me the time to drive back to Limoges at a decent hour - it's even more practical to drive to and from Carcassonne or Limoux and even FCL for the day if it's a 1500 sunday afternoon KO !
Carlos needs to do some serious rethinking especially when a lot of TO games will clash with Stade Toulousain or other televised Top 14 Orange games,or maybe he will just keep his head buried in the ground ?

| You need to drop down a couple of divisions & watch Cahors or Begles.... Still a good couple of hours each way though.
Another illustration of one of the reasons why the French game struggles though. The Rhone-Alpes league was supposed to have 6 clubs this year (they'd hoped for 8 at one point) and is now down to 3 with Mably & Vichy sitting out a season. Its many hours drive to the next nearest clubs for the remaining 3. The Ile de France league is running with 5 clubs, one of whom (Clos Torreau) is driving up from Nantes. Nantes themselves are driving down South to play in the Aquitaine league, which only has 6 clubs and has this year lost its only outpost in the south-west, Lestelle-Betharram, a village near Pau.

| yeh,Cahors is about two and a half hours from us about the same as Villeneuve which is a nice ground and only 10€ to sit in the stand - the games start at 1330 and we usually get away by 1730 after having chatted to the lads etc and so we are home by about 2030/2100 which is great and makes a nice day out with a stop off at Bergerac for a midday meal etc
believe it or not Carcassonne & Limoux is only about four hours drive down the motorway so 'dooable' in the day when there is a 1500 KO for the main game on the sunday

| And Carcassone can be free as there are quite a number of free tickets doing the rounds each game
