That try would of been turned down once it went to the video ref no matter which team it was. It was silly play from your winger, no need for him to get involved once he was offside. Shame really as you may of made a game of it if you got that early score.

It doesn't matter, if you are offside when the ball is kicked you can't position yourself within 10 metres of the receiver. It doesn't matter if he gets involved or not.

We were awful today, Wigan was the best team on the field but i can't understand why referees like Ganson, Benthan or Child are in Super League...that's a shame.

Next year will be better.

For me it was really upsetting. As I said to someone on Twitter we were out of the game before we could get in to it. And some of the reasons for that centred around Ganson.

There was a legitimate call for obstruction on one of their tries and, despite the letter of the law being applied on Bosc's try, a slight concern about that one.

The forward pass one should have stood (regardless of whether Ganson claimed a double movement as well). We had a player taken out off the ball with a 5th tackle kick to the corner etc. etc.

It's a shame it ended this way because last week promised so much more.

Hard to knock either the team or the manager though based on where were are now compared to where we were this time last season.

Whilst I understand some of the comments in this thread pointing out some of the facts, I think its perfectly natural for Dragons fans to be upset at the way the first half panned out this evening and to be disappointed at how our season ends.

The thing is, it won't. The same refs will be there implementing the RFL's instructions for the week.

The annoying thing about refs is there is no consistency,what gets blown one week gets let go the next week.I can see why the !st try you had was disallowed as the player was well withing the 10 metre area even though he didnt get involved.I thought the other one was a try,yet for Ganson to say he would of given a double movement was laughable it clearly wasnt one.

There were some very questionable calls and the ref seemed to penalise you for stuff he let Wigan get away with,but as soon as you began to suffer all your injury problems the game just started slipping away,the fatigue began to set in and Wigan got a roll on.

After last season i think overall you can be quite happy with the turn around in the team and can look forward to next season with some degree of optimism.
