| Semi-final draw:
Ashton Bears v Spring View
Halton Simms Cross v Haydock.
Ties to be played by 24th Aug.
Can't see anyone wanting to play on CC Final day so it's going to be a tight squeeze getting these in.

| We have a fixture on the 24th v LMR apparently....I think it absolutley stinks that ammy fixtures involving wigan sides in particular are being scheduled for this day...is it any wonder crowds a depleted and 24-0's are all over the place with lads having to choose between playing and watching their hometown team in the possibly the biggest showpiece on the biggest venue in the game....Absolutly pathetic!

| Absolutely crazy to schedule any amateur games for CC Final day. Thousands of amateur players and officials suddenly have to choose between their amateur club and attending or even watching the final. At a time when attendances are decreasing, we need everyone possible up for attending and watching our showcase events.
There's clearly going to be a massive swathe of 24-0s that weekend.

| We've been able to rearrange our fixture with Little Hulton from 24th to this weekend, this is due to Hindley & Latchford dropping out so we've been lucky there. Our 1sts have managed to rearrange their game with Shevvy to Friday 23rd which was helped with us being local to each other.
Arranging any fixtures for that weekend was crazy in the 1st place.
