In wigan you have to do your own journalism if you wanna get in the local rag and email your reports in ec....the majority of reports in the Wigan evening post/observer a direct lifts from clubs websites.
We don't put a report in, so were lucky to get "springview with an impressive win" (or something like that.
Wigan papers are dominated by Pats, Judes & IRB in terms of ammy Rugby....Cuthberts probably the most covered NWC side...I think the conf sides do get a journo along to home games by the looks of the reports/pictures etc.

you can tell you are not from a rugby league based town with all that coverage! haha. we dont even do a write up at the Wild Boars so not even a mention in the paper never mind photos
