Warrington called it off a few weeks ago they said they can't travel this week which is Frustrating for us following the our performances over the last 2 weeks this fixture is gonna be rearranged

We were understrength due to holidays and stuff but take nothing away from them they were red hot and although I wasnt really expecting a win the team we had out was more than capable of giving them a game. Cant see anyone beating them if they continue to play like that unless someone like BQ, WB or Brook put out a load of 1st teamers.
We been playing them for the last 5 years or so and they were always just a big set who bullied teams because they couldnt really play rugby but on Saturday they were like a different team and their discipline was very good compared to previous years.

Yes West Bank played about 8 first team players which they are entitled to do, it didn't help that we also had around 6 players missing and then lost 3 to injury throughout the game, since we had 5 weeks off it has been a struggle to put a strong side out or any side for that matter.

BQB will only be using 2nd team players as Hindpool to their misfortune can confirm from us not being able to raise a team through various reasons, we had no 1st team fixture that day but it is not the league they play in so is unfair to use that team in that league.

i have to disagree with you wirejb if teams cnt get a 2nd team they shouldnt have 2 teams if we wanted to play all the 1st teams we would of asked to go in a higher league,

NEW PLAYERS WANTED

Leyland Warriors are looking to recruit more players at Open Age level. As some of our results show from earlier this season, we have some quality lads on board but just need more numbers.

Long story short, due to a combination of several players travelling on gap years, emigrating, working weekends, long term injuries and so on, we are struggling for numbers. Very frustrating, especially given as all of our junior teams are flourishing in the change of season.

wildboars 40 v bamber bridge 28 worse performance of the season for us didnt play well and didnt make wildboars work at all to much dropped ball and too many pens made lots of easy yards we battled to the end but a very poor performance from us,credit wildboars they played well and deserved the win,hope the lad who got carried of at end of the game is ok

Ulv got the points because Cadishead rhinos didn't turn up we wernt surprised either it's been a terrible league For sides turning up hopfully it sorts it self out soon!!!

We have got 6 home games and 1 away game left to play. I would only expect to play 2 possibly 3 of the home games.

It was a very sloppy game from the off, dont think either team played as well as we hoped with a very stop start game, as is always the case with that certain ref in charge.

Down to have West Bank at weekend have they been playing? Been a very stop start season which we have been struggling from early on with, even giving one game way this season which isnt good enough (Apologies to Heysham). Just hope next season once everyone has a break the season will be a little bit more settled and run more smoothly.

you never know with widnes west bank if they are going turn up but if they dnt turn up do you the wildboars want to come to our place??/

I don't think it is necessarily you can't get a 2nd team, this is the first time we have run a 2nd team and what we have found that when lads get injured, go away, suspended etc for either team it basically stretches the 2nd team, so as the season has gone on our 2nds have struggled more and more, you have a squad of open age players there isn't a distinction between them although players will predominately play for one side or the other with some players who float back and to.

Some massive fixtures coming up...despite the stop start season its going to be a cracking finish!

Disappointing to lose the game but really could have gone either way, they must love us will rue dropping two over the line!!

A couple of weeks off so hopefully a few bodies back on board for the last few games.
