If true, thats sh*t, AGAIN. Where is the encouragement to win the league or make sure you get 2nd? yes, its great if you do but as long as you do ok you will go up. Woolston worked their nuts off last year to finish 2nd, lads taking time off work etc when they could have got the ££ instead. 4th year on the bounce of rewarding mediocrity.

however, you need 12 teams a division...what do you want t happen when teams drop out?

Well we've suffered enough of it in the past few years! Maybe abit of karma!

I know what you're saying, however i think we'll be glad to drop down a division to 3 for this season, new young team, we have quite a few 18's coming up, with a new coach so i think it'll stand us in good stead.

I promise Div 2, it's been a nightmare, you automatically know as Div 2 is full of a lot of A teams, if the 1st team has a free weekend the 2nd team gets flooded with 1st teamers and it's wrong.

I know you are supposedly only supposed to have 4 1st teamers but all teams play well over that, i promise at 1 point or another this year teams that play in Div 2 will see this.

I am gutted to hear that new springs have folded. We have had some classics against you lot and its the game i look forward to the most.

I was just going off stuff that was apparently said at one of our meetings. Obviously wrong, apologies to you both, I only heard it second hand and shouldn't have put it on here really.

And I agree mate, not sure what will come of this 'merger' as I haven't heard anything apart from on here. But even then I think it will be too late to get back the players that are training at other teams.

We had some classic games against you men, first one I played in was the draw at our place a couple of years ago and I've played in them all since. Good memories of the first couple of games but I had shockers in both games last season.

Good numbers at training, but its the same group of lads who like to train but when it comes to matchdays they bottle out. Pain in the a*se big time. Quite a few young kids too.

Still no sign, I really do think we should know the make up of the divisions at least by now, especially when coaches want to arrange friendlies to get their team ready for the particular teams they may play against.

Im told it's been announced at the league meeting tonight. If anyone hears anything let us know!

anybody know division 4 structure?

Cronus was dependant on my texts from the meeting...Bury v Newton is on day 1. I've passed the scheet on for another official to scan in so havent bothered with the others. Bury go to Eccleston in week 2 and the stand out fixture for us in a Bury - Bolton derby on Grand Final day!!! Good day that is going to be!

14 teams in Div 6 by the way...including a new Chester team, while Ellesmere Port have not joined but will be elooking for friendlies over the season.

assuming its all of last years with three up from 5 - Watehead, Hindley, Rochdale Cobras and a Irlam, Spring View (and another?) up to 4 (Unsure whats happened to Blackpool though as they were below Widnes Tigers who have gone into 5.)

all very strange especially when the two teams at the bottom of division 3 Langworthy Reds and Hindpool weren't relegated, Irlam,Pilk's and Higgenshaw were promoted as expected and Widnes Tigers were relegated to division 5 .
