30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Furious.
Deserved win for London, but quack me, what a terribly stupid performance from us.
Just play the flipping game out.
Ages ago I said I'd like London to stay up because of their endeavour and Wardy, but i knew it would be at our expense.
At sixteen fourteen we clearly didn't have enough points on the board and then when we didn't score we decided to give away penalties and possession.
Where have the senior players been?

| Can't see any points for us at Salford. Think it's down to Wakefield to save us which is a shambles. The no shows at home to Hudds and Wakey ramped the pressure up for this game and whilst plenty of effort tonight the 2 players took off combined with poor end to sets led to the loss. I do fancy Wakey to win as last 2 games they have played well without winning but it's pee poor we have let it come to this again

Don’t know whether the credit they deserve for repeatedly buying a ticket outweighs their bi-weekly seeming determination to throw it in the bin.
You do start to wonder if there is some deep-seated psychological or cultural issue that leads to this cycle of clown car nonsense year after year, through different coaches and batches of players.
I get just not being very good, but this knack of snatching defeats in crucial matches is astonishing. You can pretty much set your watch by it.
Fair play to London - great effort from them this year against the odds.
Ahhh well.

Hopefully, from a natural justice perspective, they’ll move the games so they’re all kicking off together. Although that might not work well for Sky.
According to the BBC it is currently Hudds-Catalans on the Friday and then Rovers-Salford and Wakefield-London on the Sunday. The worst scenario for us then, strangely, is that Huddersfield lose narrowly, so their PD is better than ours, but Wakefield are safe so long as they don’t lose by about 80. Whatever, it is in our hands, and any sort of win at Salford [ishould[/i be enough.
Decent chance they might move Wakefield-London forward, in which case we might even be almost safe before we kick-off, as long as we don’t lose by 50+. He said, tempting fate.
But to be honest it is the, admittedly important, financial consequences of relegation that concern me more than the sporting ones. If we’re in a position to mount a promotion challenge, that sounds like quite good fun right now. A big if, mind you.

| Idiots.A team of bottlers.Well done London, you played with more fire in your bellies than our set of chokers. London were backing up every charge forward with two three and four players ready for the pass. I am sick and tired of leaving the ground after another late late defeat when the win was there for the taking.
London simply seemed to want it more, yes they were playing for survival, but so were we. No excuses, to go through an entire season without two wins on the bounce is appalling and unacceptable. This lot are simply not good enough and deserve to go down.
All teams have got Rovers sussed, put pressure on and they will probably crack, and it,s happened again.
I will watch through my fingers next week, but am not expecting anything positive, and hope that Wakefield put 60 on London.
Need to win at Salford, who expects that?
Good luck Tony Smith,we are going to need.
Thoroughly fed up, they have let us all down again.

Ah well just isn't good enough, but i have to agree squire, what is the answer?
I'll stupidly at Salford for the inevitability.
Look at our squad, there's decent players in there, we're doing something very wrong at first team level, on a rinse and repeat level.
I know who I blame.

| Will be interesting to see how Sky pick the televised games. Only fair way as I see it is Wigan Cas or Hull Saints games on Thursday and the other 4 Friday. Ideally all 6 on Friday but can't see that happening

I just don’t feel as worked up about it as I did in 2016. That felt wilful. Many of the same flaws are there, but they feel more... natural.
There are decent players in our squad. But there’s plenty who are a bit limited or past their best or error-prone or often unavailable due to injury. When you’re best case looks like 8th pre-season it doesn’t take much to blow you into choppy waters.
I think what is wrong, mainly, is a lack of urgency at first team level. I appreciate that patience is a virtue, but we never seem to get beyond the one step backwards stage.
Peacock has served his sentence as my scapegoat. I think our problems largely just reflect a lack of money for fees and wages, not being a club players want to join to fulfil their sporting ambitions, and not bringing many players through our youth system.
Do you want to say who you blame?

| Do you think it’s possible that it is a curse on the club ala Hulls wembley hoodoo, you may laugh but too many coincidences for me to think otherwise, we will possibly get through the curse like Hulls Wembley one but when?

| Where’s the Smiff tears of joy ?
Players still drunk on the cheap Sangria given to them by Hudge on the 48 hour coach journey home
I backed London -2 so I’m having a beautiful meal tonight with the winnings on the river front in Melbourne
Salford will hammer you next week and London will see off Trinity
The master stroke of Smiff appointment will have worked out so well

| You know what, I started about four or five posts that i edited and reviewed and changed MR.
I comedically blame Mike for everything but Neil is ultimately responsible, but we owe him everything for actually having a club and a team to still support, believe in and flow through our blood.
It's easy for me to stand on the sidelines, on the terraces and criticise.
