Like I put on the new signings thread, a couple of average squad players in my opinion. Will give us depth, but would have preferred one good signing to 2 average ones. We have average/good need people to take us to the next step.

Expect quite a few to go, especially young players and ones who were part time in the side last season.

Good grief, this will have Super League shaking in their collective boots.

I also expect ZDC to leave (London are believed to be after him). Will Jubb will also leave as he's probably never going to get another game for us.Moran, Wardill and quite a few other squad players.

Anyone now what's happening with Butler-Fleming?

Hopefully will come up with a couple of gems from the WC, as his signings so far this close season (McGuire announced during the season), don't exactly make you think we're heading for anything but the middle 8's.

We are not shaking in our boots no, but if theres one thing that newly promoted teams struggle with its squad depth. If those two are starters then you might be struggling, but its two established SL players to provide a bit of back up and cover. They might be uninspiring signings, but they are not bad ones.

Was Lee contracted to saints next year? Maybe saints have paid you a fee to get rid of him

The announcement makes it clear they've been brought in to add depth. Sheens knows them both from Salford, of course.

With the couple of youngsters brought in from Warrington and, again, Salford our depth should be okay. A few of the lads who were fringe players in the Championship will probably move on. No doubt we will promote 1 or 2 from the academy to the outer fringes of the squad too.

We do need a handful of players to come in at the top end of the squad still, but we're still on a championship distribution, so I can see why we might not be in too much of a rush.

With the exception of Washbrook, for whom time is running out, this does mean we've signed all of the 'silver' generation of players that emerged at Hull in the middle of the last decade - Wheeldon, Hall, G. Horne, and now Lee.

Not sure how I feel about that. Old, mainly, I guess.

I’d be mortified if we even considered it. Kav should be a squad player at best in SL. Lee will be at another club this time next year.
