| The last game of the regular season is fast approaching. What team would you play. I would trial this.
1. Moss
2. Oakes
3. Carney
4. Heffernan (Minns or Salter if Heff is still injured)
5. Shaw
6. Quinlan
7. Atkin
8. Scrutes
9. Lunt
10. Kavanagh
11.Blair
12. Jewitt
13. Addy
14. Johnson
15. Clarkson
16. Mulhern
17. ZDC
A few out of position I know but the HB pairing isn't working I put Moss at FB because I think he is better there than on the wing. I think Carney as Oakes centre would create a destructive left edge and shaw retains his place but needs to muscle up in defence and him and Heff could be a lethal combination on the right. Could possibly replace Mulhern on the bench with Wardill who has performed well when called upon this year and is just a little bit ahead of Cator. The rest can recuperate for the Middles but if the above system worked who knows, and then we can add Mose Masoe to the pack Trying Quinlan in the halves because he has a good skill set and atkin impressed whilst playing against us at Swinton so that is a no brainer for me.

| Drop Oakes, put Carney on the wing and Minns inside Carney if Minns is back. Quinlan at HB is a risk.
Next week is a must win. We cannot stumble into the m8s, so a full strength side is actually required, even if it means Toulouse replaces Fax.
Leigh have strengthened, Warrington will be too strong, Catalans will be a struggle but an outside chance if we get them at home. Widnes looks like everyone is jumping ship. Sharp has just left Feath which is really strange timing. Do you get the feeling they don't want to get promoted (ground notwithstanding)? Either way, it *might* help us when we play them.
Forget Sunday, we have one final chance to get back a bit of momentum against Fax, then our real short season begins.

| Put out the best starting 13 & try & get some form going into the 8's, put Atkin on the bench & give him at least 40 minuets to see what he can do. Do not play anyone out of position unless injuries make us have to.

| I think its imperative we get some minutes into the legs of minns, greenwood, carney, heff, atkin , quinlan and any signings.
You dont want the first game back from injury after big lay offs to be against SL opposition.
Full strength for me, i don't think there is anything to fear going to Toulouse. More then beatable, and could be a decent team building exercise spending a day or two over.

| I agree put out strongest team, but do not be surprised if team has mostly coha in it, yes we would need a win but at what cost if first tamers get bad injuries were stuffed for 8s. And it make sure we return to halifax full strength in the 8s instead of toulouse

Thanks. Sounds like we have to go all guns blazing with best 17 available to me.

| Be surprised to see any COHA lads in, as they are in the top four of the U19's league and both clubs will want them in the play offs.

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |

Since when did the academy become more important than the first team

| From what I've seen of Atkin he seems to have more about him than Ellis who just seems to be going through the motions
