They're an aged team in the pack, playing at this intensity every week will be to much. In the 8s, they could get away with it because they had been in training matches all season and then put everything in to them final 7 games, more so when playing SL teams. I would also say they're poor in the halves, 2 totally unproven players at this level.

We were a poor team last season, but we were competitive all the same. I can't remember us, even as the team going down taking a dry bumming like this.

Leigh will be more competitive in games against lower sides, Cas will be top 4 this year. However, if they think Drinkwater & Ridyard are an SL half back pair then they are in the brown stuff.

One Leigh fan said they had the best set of half backs in SL with these two plus Hampshire and Reynolds

They may find that team spirit again and will be hard to beat at home but the signings look poor

Looking at Widnes 17 they look weak.Hanbury aside they look vulnerable. The plastic pitch is a big advantage for them and shouldn't be allowed imo. Cas were outstanding for 65 mins. Leigh complete cackamallabab. I have Cas down to finish above the dark side in the SL top 4 this season.

James Green was the pick of Leigh's new signings. Several Leigh players like Ridyard and Hood looked out of condition and carrying too much timber.

That was a beating but tbf catalans looked very good first third of season apart from getting beat by thunder sharks they probably played the best rugby of anyone but injury screwed them.as iv said before teams were playing without 8/9/10/11 players apart from 1 or 2 teams. Those circumstances are unlikely to happen again

We drew to cas 16-16 early on last season with the following side:

Hull KR: Sio; Cockayne, Minns, Thornley, Mantellato; Blair, Kelly; Tilse, Lawler, Allgood, Horne, Clarkson, Greenwood.

Replacements: Mulhern, Donaldson, Green, Boudebza.

We have a better side playing this time round with a much better coach. Nothing to worry about against Leigh in the middle 8's espcially with 2 or 3 top end signings to come later in the year.

Still think kellys role in our relegation has been underplayed 12-0 up v Leigh and wheels fell off. Going to enjoy watching him stink up the sharks season but he was good in winning gold on track and bicycle
