Are you Frank 1 off the Leigh message board? You look like him.

Diggory...would you like me to be? I'm not Frank.
Admittedly I'm a leigh fan but now live in York so get to chat to many hull rl fans and do enjoy the passion in hull for RL,along with being a RL fan of 40 years standing. I've a love of the game generally so my intention was nothing more than to see some well intentioned replies.
Regards

We got the dregs in the 90s and in the 80s Paul Rose , Len Casey and Mick Crane and not forgetting Clive Sullivan all swopped sides and all very good players

| Joe Oliver. Just think, if things had been a bit different you might have had a decent song instead of nicking bristol city's chirpy number

| Len Casey and Clive Sullivan both spring to mind, as they won major trophies with Rovers and were both voted onto our all-time team.
Two of our best coaches were former Hull players - Colin Hutton turned Rovers around after a long period in the doldrums, and Bill Jacques won two Championships as trainer in the 1920s.
In more recent times, Shaun Briscoe was very good player, and pro. Josh Hodgson was excellent. And the Paul Cooke signing represents a time when Rovers were, to use Andy Wilson's words, opportunistic, ambitious, driven and intelligent, while Hull FC were 'sluggish' and 'alarmingly accident-prone'. The last couple of years have seen that flip, but what goes around, comes around and around and around.

| For me, Len Casey marked a great leap forward for the club. The Ull fans said he was a poor clubman and bad trainer. I remember the crys of good ridenes. But he transformed our pack.
He inspired those around him and made other teams think about how to nullify him. Young players followed him and older ones respected him and believed.
Anyone who can remember him prowling the touchline against Wally Lewis's Queensland will know what I' m trying to say.
