Yes, due to a number of injuries and suspensions, most of us are playing.

| For a top of the table team I expected more home supporters?
That Ipitch is certainly not a level playing field and IMO it seems to have deteriorated.
I'm still reeling from yet another poor ref decision re the call Greenwood was held over the line when it was clear he touched the ball down? The next play, clear obstruction, Widnes score!!!!!!
Actually, it was a good performance by Rovers make-shift 17. I was impressed with Matty Marsh and Minns try was a scorcher.
The difference between the two teams was lack of experience around the ruck but hopefully French 'I'll grab yer ankles' John will bridge this gap.

| Tbh I thought you lot played very very well and the scoreline didn't reflect how well you played
But I also thought our pitch suited your game plan, you have several quick forwards who ran hard and got lots of quick ptbs
On the subject of our 'lack' of fans, widnes is a relatively small town with a population of around 60k and we have a solid fan base of 5k which is only 2nd to cas in crowd to population
We have struggled to get people through the turnstiles since our return to SL as we not only have 2 top SL sides (wire and the stains) that we have lost fans to when we went out of SL last time we have 4 PL football teams to contend with
Widnes since the inception of the PL has become more of a football town which is a damn shame but if we hopefully finish in the top 8 we might attract a few more fans

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| The North West is a hard gig for RL as it is largely a Wendy Ball area, luckily, in Yorkshire and particularly East Yorkshire, we're rubbish at it so TGG is often king.

| You lot are lucky only having the one decent footy team in the area, wish it was the same over here
It really makes my poo itch when someone born and bred in widnes would rather watch an effing man utd game in leggies(the pub near the ground)and then have the gall to ask chemic fans the score when we all tip in after the game

Pubs in Hull are packed for Premier league football as well, why I don't know because football has become boring IMO with square and back passes dominating possession tactics.
I know Naughton Park rarely saw huge crowds but it had atmosphere. The new ground is as dead as the KC stadium at times. Pity because your team is flying high and playing to its strengths. Keep Browny fit and you will make the Super8s with comfort.

The East Stand at the KC lightstream stadium has been dead this season apart from when booing the players off.
