the RFL have taken this beyond a joke. Their rationale for changing the date for the Cas match has been totally thrown out of the window with this cup fixture.
They need to really look at themselves, for caving in to a request for changing a fixture in place for several months (not on tv) on the grounds of player welfare, only to then (simply for TV) arrange a fixture within a shorter timeframe. All I can take from this is that money is clearly a larger driver than player welfare.
