No great deal, you cannot miss what you have never had. We could do with his offload game and big minutes but think Weyman was the real shame. I am more then happy with Walker, Tilse, Green and Allgood with Burke and Cox for cover if needed. I heard Bailey was on a very good deal with Rovers.

So the main personal reason was perhaps the travelling after all.

Is this Cas's gain? Don't think so. I'll put good money on Bailey not getting a contract extension beyond this season.

Problem with this is that it leaves us short of 'proper' props. Tilse looks ok but we need an enforcing old head prop, with real size, which I don't think we have atm. Cas, Saints and to a lesser extent Bradford have all shown that making yards against us is far too easy and us making yards is difficult. Unless we bring in a 'bulky' prop who can drive in really hard then I think we'll struggle to be anything more than inconsistent.

Perhaps Bully Bailey was boffing the Hull KR receptionist.

He won't be able to do that at Cas because they can't afford a receptionist!

As already said, you don't miss what you haven't had.

You don't but you miss what you've needed and we need some size up front.

The whole business regarding Bailey is one best forgotten. We made a cock up signing him as he was not a good fit to our new collegiate culture and he's known for being difficult (polite interpretation). We should breathe a collective sigh of relief that he could and probably will now cause instability issues at Cas, but not with us.
Leeds have not looked back since offloading him.
One positive is we get to give him stick if he plays against us at home later in the season.
