Watching the game back, we used blair a few times as a kicking option and generally all of the kicks hit the deck and turned around the fullback/wingers. Great game plan/management.

For me Blair is the most underrated player in our team and while the plaudits get handed out to campese and kelly ( rightly so, they are immense!) we should not fail to recognise what he brings to the team. I imagine he is one of the first names on the team sheet every week for chezzy and he is such a solid pro.

Looks like he has a really good attitude. Thought he was coming over to play at 6 but Campese put an end to that. Not playing in his usual centre position because of Welham but he has just got his head down and nailed a spot in the second row. I bet he is a pleasure to coach.
Our overseas recruitment this year has been unbelievably good. Fair play to Chris Chester for identifying them and Mike Smith for securing them.

He really has impressed me and as for that tackle i didn't think it was even a penalty he did lift him but westermans body never went over horizontal and slammed on his back westerman milked it for a penalty

As a leftie, I'd like to see what some of his kicking from ball in hand is like from penalties.

My one slight criticism of Campese would be that he doesn't make a lot of metres from left to right kicks.

No idea, at the time I always thought it was weird, he's the only player in either code that I can ever recall doing that (bloody effective it was too!), so I can't see the rules having been changed.

He has always been a bit under rated because he doesn't look like much of an athlete.
He's a better centre than second rower - not that I've seen him play much second row.
