I think there needs to be a proper clear out at the end of season from coaching staff to players to many just going through the motions the fact that we couldn't get ourselves up for the biggest game of the season is a disgrace when I look at our team on paper compared to widnes or cas there evenly matched but watch them on the field and they look miles ahead of us both teams did the double over us that has to be down to the coach Hodgson is to slow now same with Gardner Welham has lost his speed and is a turnstile in defence Eden is a liability Caro is never going to make it much as I wanted him to Carlile isn't good enough Keating isn't good enough we do however have some decent forwards

Totally agree with all that. We need a top coach who can motivate players and at least 5 new players who will wear the jersey with pride.

We seem to constantly be having a large player turnover ( some enforced some not), the problem is we then import more of the same, or not as good with the odd exception. we have had several issues with players taking the and letting us down this season, and that has got to be controlled from the top, I would suggest we need to look at instilling something into the players, look at widnes's player retention, they want to play for the club and Betts. There is something missing at rovers and that is what needs sorting and quickly.

I know its only a game after watching the glory years of the 80s as a young lad and then enduring the 90s which lets face it was just watching amateurs from the local sides half the time to getting back in super league when I never thought we would im quite grateful I was just giving my opinion to what I think I wont actually lose any sleep over it

What gets me about these so called full time professional Superleague players at Rovers is they cannot think that if I do not perform at work week after week and by doing so could lose my job and my lively hood and by doing so will not be able to get another job equally as good because everyone in the very small industry I worked in will see I am crap, I think eh hang on a minute it's time I pulled my finger out or Me and my family are going to starve.
Also the boss doesn't to seem to know how to get me to play better and the guy before him who I helped to get sacked didn't know how to get me to play better.
But they don't think like that are they that thick?
They keep saying we will get better we know our weaknesses we do it for the supporters they are the best in the land,

Well said I to have watched them since the 60s and right up to 7 yrs ago went to every home match and a lot of away, I once thought I would die and not see them in the top league again IE super league and now I hope and pray we stop hear if not for me for my grandsons

I don't really expect to much like I said watching rovers in the 90s I never thought we would get back on all honesty so I'm quite happy and grateful really

Interesting that chester has said today there will be afew announcements over next few days about players going and some are still contracted
