| Having watched Rovers yesterday I have come to the conclusion the following:-
Omari Caro should never play for us again he will never be a Superleague winger
Craig Hall should be shipped ou to Gateshead now he is not interested in helping Rovers in fact he should never have been given the chance to wear the red and white
Between them they gave Salford 24 points yesterday.
Burns got 10 minutes for having a go at Tommy Lee for alte tackle. Caro should have been sent off for cowardice
Chester is not the answer to our coaching problem he proved that yesterday in his selection of Caro and Hall.
Before you come back at me about picking on these two players, and there were another 15 in the squad ok there was but just imagine how some of those guys must be thinking especially the forwards when you have played in state of origin Grand Final etc and you have these two balloons behind you .
Keeting is getting a hiding off some supporters he is a better player than what we are seeing but he is not getting help from some of the forwards especially the so called runners time and time again he hits the line and looks no one there, he is going through the same as Travis Burns did last year I can remember some of the supporters saying Burns is rubbish, last year he was playing second fiddle to Dobbo.Well Keeting is suffering the same, give him chance I believe he will come good.

Hall has been playing well recently .. just not @ full back. If you want to go round throwing cowardly accusations around, then point in the direction of Greg Eden. His selfish actions were the route and cause why Hall was a FB in the first place. Burns too shouldn't be exempt from criticism. In my eyes there was nothing wrong with the tackle. Burns got put on his ass having ran laterally and got hit, in the process of kicking the ball. He lost his head and under recent RFL rules, should have seen red for striking/punching. As Co Capt he left his teammates, who already were up against it, really up against it, leaving Chase to dominate etc.

Coward and selfish do not come through as the same action Caro for his size and so called speed which we do not see enough of bye the way does not put himself about enough once in the first half Salford put a bomb up and he should have taken it when they kicked through he should have dropped on loose ball, why didn't he, because he is frightened to death that's why.
I have watched Rovers for over 50 years and he without doubt the worst winger ever to put on the colours. Don't tell me I am a dinosaur and do not know what I am talking about he is not good enough and will never be. We let a better winger than him go in Brown

The Keating milarky is a load of crap! We saw glimpses of travis tear teams up and win games single handedly last year such as Huddersfield at home, we have seen nothing at all but snail pace lateral running at the line trying to look dangerous when everyone knows he's just going to pass it on

Sam may not have been a great winger, but I never saw him bottle it.

It takes a brave effort for a coward to take the field and play professional rugby league. I certainly don't think he's the bravest or hardest of players by an stretch of the imagination. But I will stick to my guns about how I viewed him last year. He's not a natural RL player. In as much, he doesn't naturally understand the game/his role. Everything he does, he seems to question himself whether it's the right one. That fraction to think and maybe hesitate to a situation can be misinterpreted as weakness/lacking courage I guess. He was lucky he had 2 years (vs Brown) but I can't imagine we'll retain him next year. Maybe it was worth a punt, but overall can anyone say he's improved enough from last year to make you think, he'll be not the same player, with the same inherent weaknesses next year?
Like you say he has all the physical attributes to be a great player, but so did someone like David Mills. Maybe he lacks total commitment compared to others, but I still think it's his basic understanding that really holds him back.

Yeah, nothing in Lee's tackle. Strange then, that he is on a grade b charge.

Doesn't imply that my opinion was right/wrong of the actual event. But clarifies from my perspective, I saw nothing wrong with the tackle. It was impossible to judge whether of not it was a shoulder charge. The touch judge would've had a similar view. Hence it was missed by him at least too.

Obviously, the only person sure of what happened was Travis Burns then.

| Easthull4 your comments on Caro are a bit harsh in my opinion , if he is never a SL winger please let us know how many tries he has scored did you hear the plaudits for the St. Helens try as an example. This guy was new to RL and still learning his trade by the way so no he is not the worst winger I have seen don a rovers shirt what he has got is size and pace something that Rovers are sadly lacking .
Players make mistakes in games but for some reason Caro seems the brunt of the complaints.

| I may be wrong, but I felt both Hall and Caro messed up too many of the Salford kicks, leading to either out and out tries or repeat sets on our line. I think the shielding of these guys is poor, but still some catches have to stick.
I think the criticism of both for this game is warranted, however I have seen them both play well recently. It's that inconsistency between their best and worst that kills us at times.
As for Chester's team selection (assuming Gardner's injured) then that was his only option without throwing the youngsters in. We went into the season with a backline of Eden / Cockayne / Welham / Gleeson / Hodgson. This is a poor defensive backline for starters, but when you have to field your second choice in 3 of those positions it makes life very tough.
