For anyone who follows the Hull KR & PNG Alliance on FB there's a new addition to the John Okul Story. Excellent read, have heard and read nothing but good about the guy over the years, just feel sad that as a club we never saw John at his best due to the injury. Without that, and from what you read, I think he would perhaps be on walls in the club now like Stan and perhaps with a Testimonial to his name.
Still, great player for PNG, and it seems an all-round class act.

It's a group they've set up mate called the Hull Kingston Rovers & PNG Kumals Alliance, to strengthen the bond between Rovers and PNG. Seems to be doing some great things like helping build our fanbase over there, + myself and others have posted shirts out there for fans who otherwise wouldn't be able to show their colours.

They've been doing an interview with John in stages about his career, and the aforementioned part covers his time with us. If you can somehow access it on there it's a good read bud.
