Good news & well done, BUT if the club have faith in him why not sign him up for five or six years? then if he improves as we all think he will the club can charge what they want for him if he wants to move away.

Maybe the player didn't want to commit to that length of contract? He may have NRL ambitions at some point (isn't he one of Murdock's players?)

Naturally longer than 2 years would've rocked, but it would have been unpalatable to think we could lose another prop. Especially if it was another case of Taylor/Paea is he/isn't he distraction.

I don't think Cox will be signing another deal from what sandy has said. Something on the likes of him been a local kid, shown sings of been a great prospect etc. But goes on too say you cart sign them all but glad to have James in board for another 2 years
