Anyone know if we still are planning a warm weather camp this year?

Taking all the club peeing contests out of it there are arguments for and against them.
There’s the reasons of continuous training not hampered by weather but does this really help that much, maybe set moves can be better done in the dry but those aren’t the conditions we’ll be playing in.
The big plus may be an element of team building and bonding and with our high amount of changes this may be more necessary than in a year where we’ve had a stable squad. Still this could be carried out in this country.
The big negative is that going somewhere warm and the playing 3 months in snow, rain and hail maybe isn’t the best preparation.

Still I suppose the line to be taken is if we do it its obviously the best thing since sliced bread, if we don’t we’re skint….

theres plenty of quality training places in the uk aswell though.

I strongly suggest Lympstone in devon. They will bond there and build up teamwork and fitness there. And in the conditions they will experience in the super league.

As we supposedly worked with [sizeHULL FC[/size in the past trying to lower costs by working/buying together etc, Tenerife included. I think their winter staycation will have a direct effect on us. It'll be interesting to see what we do. Especially seeing how both preseasons CS has endured have been pretty cold with extended periods where any outdoor training has been impossible.

Think Sandy was reported as saying that they got as much quality work done in a week over there which would take a month over here so unless it was all spin .........

So Hull FC are cost cutting on warm weather training.
