| It sounds like there is a lot of interest for the north stand.
But that could be existing pass holders transferring from other stands.

| Be good to see the north stand packed out every home game. Seems there's a lot of interest from existing and new pass holders. This stand is really starting to benefit the club, and the signs are there already. If we can average 9000 next season, and it could happen, then that's all good.

| Average 9000?
Based on crowds declining every year since their 8500 peak in 2008, I think getting back to an average 8000 would be a more realistic aim.

Agreed. Back above 8,000 would not be too bad considering the current climate.
But there is the added benefit of the corporate boxes and function room. Also
KC are sponsoring the new north stand.
We should try and push the new stand to all the away supporters who have been
put off by the old golf stand and south stand.

A few deals on the south will get our average attendance up a notch.

Instead of a £200 chunk its 8 smaller bits of £25 which could help.

Maybe I am being over realistic, but on average on our crowds this year, the south had est 400 to 500 every match (and that's being generous). Take that figure off our average over the year and that puts us to 7000 fans.
Next year with the north stand open to home and away support, you would have to say at least 80% of the stand would be filled every home match making that a total of just over 2000 fans. Add a smattering of south stand fans, then I cant see why 9000 wouldn't be achievable.

| People paying in one lump sum buying for the east will be in no rush to buy a pass as it doesn't go up until late December so might as well hold onto the money a bit longer.

The North Stand is flling up nicely, but most (if not all) are people migrating from the East or West Stands. The trick for Rovers is to backfill this capacity with new or lapsed supporters. I still think we may have misjudged the allocation for away fans somewhat and could find ourselves turning down away fans once they sell 900 seats. Opening up the South Stand for them is hardly going to appease either.

Agree with this. We will renew ours in a lump sum, but not for another month or 2.

If teams do sell 900 tickets they can give them some of the general sale tickets if needs be in the North stand.
I would like to see what teams did bring more than 900 this season, or even that many at the KC for that matter as they had the better facilities last season for away support. At a guess only 2 or 3 did so not a massive issue

Previous support to CP is not relevant, as they all told us that both the South Stand and Golf Stand were the reasons for staying away. I await fresh excuses for 2014.
The away support to the KC is much more relevant, and I tend to agree that 900 will be enough for most teams, however there will be a 1st season curiosity factor that may entice visiting fans. Leeds, Wigan & Hull will certainly need more. Wakey on a good day can go beyond 900, and both Saints & Wire have exceeded that on the odd occasion (certinly Wire did in the 2006 & 2009 cup games, not so sure for league matches).
Personally, I would love to get back to seeing away fans in the East Stand as was the norm before entering SL. They used to congregate at one end and really improve the atmosphere. I don't expect this will ever happen again, but it would be good.
