There was a few comments in the pub after the game about the east stand booing Pia when he ran out. What do the players expect he has gone to the dark side the biggest enemy rover have do they expect him to be welcomed with open arms, especially the way it came out. He openly said he wanted to go back to the NRL. and was saying he was still looking to get a deal there, when he had agreed to join Hull FC. OK no problem with him going to the black and whites more money Etc but to try and lie to keep it quiet. He gets what he deserves in my opinion. The quicker he goes the better, he has done well this season played some great games, but only this season is it just because his contract was up.

Yeah he was booed .....whilst i would agree with some of the points made...what difference does it make to boo them...except for them to not want to give 100%..so self defeating is booing.

this was not the only unsavoury incident to come out of the east stand, a rovers player was down on his haunches near the salford sticks in the second half struggling after picking up a knock and some IDIOT in the east stand shouted "Get up you Wa***r" totally uncalled for and the type of supporter we could do without...

I heard the booing when he came out to warm up but I think it was more in jest & half hearted at that. He reacted with a wave & a wry smile, he will also have heard the cheers & claping when he took the ball up hard.

The rugby is half decent, the team are winning - lets moan about fans.

Whoever you are, stop shouting "Forward" when you're stood on such a ridiculous angle to the play that, unless you were short sighted in one eye and long sighted in the other, there would be no way on this earth you could see.

I had one yesterday shouting 'What are you stopping play for when you had played the advantage you stupid french t***' He obviously though the fact Dobson seemed to be on the floor needing attention in the middle of the play wasn't a good enough reason
We then had the same guy shouting 'Yeah that's right give em another penalty you french git' when we committed the clearest offside you will ever see.

At one point I couldn't help myself 'That's a knock on give a scrum!!' he shouted.
My shouted reply was 'It's called the advantage rule!!'

a big part of watching any sport is the atmopshere created by the fans.Love it or hate it the East Stand is a bear pit of emotions.Every over seas player who plays for the Red and Whites comments on the noise generated by the KR fans on match day.
a part of this is booing or mickey taking, a profesional sports amn accepts the acclaim so he must alos accept it when the crowd turns against him.in my mind booing is futile and achieves nothing, but it is part of the back ground noise of any match.
As a side issue the KC is a lovely stadium but it has in my mind no atmosphere and only comes to life in a derby , the passion generated by the Threepenny Stand did not transfer to the KC and it is a sterile place to play RL
